Our speaker Sunday is Bob Holden, Vice-President of the Georgina Historical Society, and co-founder of the Newmarket Historical Society. He will present on the  “Steamboats of Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching“. A retired teacher, Bob has a passionate interest in the history of transportation in our area. He has done extensive research on the history of the railways and their links with water transportation. The steamboats of Lake Simcoe played a very important role in the history of our area making this topic especially relevant for us. Hope you can join us on Sunday Oct 27th at 2pm.
